Land Rover, Jaguar Sold

Ford sold off Land Rover and Jaguar to Tata Motors Ltd. Tata is based in India. Ford sold the brands for less than half of what it paid. Ouch.

Frankly, I was never impressed with what Ford did with these two luxury car brands, and the thought of some company from India being in charge of future designs makes me nervous. Hopefully Tata won't ruin either brand. They might. Or, they could produce brilliant results. It's hard to tell. I don't know anything about Tata Motors Ltd. Time will tell, and we'll see.
