Ringo Walks Out on Regis - Refusing to cut his new song to under 3 minutes, Ringo Starr walked out on the crew of Live With Regis and Kelly.

Apparently, Michael Gellman thought Starr's song would sound better shorter. He's such a musical genius, this guy. I mean, who would know better? The Beatle or Gellman? As we all know, Gellman produces Live With Regis and Kelly.

He's the guy with the nerve to ask a living legend to compromise his art.

Look, you don't ask a Beatle to pare down songs. It's stupid. Why would anyone do that? How out of touch can this Gellman be? You either have Ringo Starr on your show and give him the appropriate time to grace the public with his presence, or you schedule someone else who can't fill his shoes. Those are the options. There is no work-around to that. Cutting songs isn't acceptable.

I'm glad Starr left. It amuses me somewhat. Good for him. He made the right move.
